Drinking Tea with Friends

Today I was drinking tea in the teahouse and talking about tea with friends. We knew there were many different types of tea in addition to the usual familiar Pu'er, Longjing, Tieguanyin and so on, there is this obscure tea, that looks like a piece of cotton, but is the famous "Tianshan Snow Lotus" from Wuxia novels. Really knowing a person by his reputation is not as good meeting him face-to-face.

Interesting pics. If Jackie visited a tea house in Beijing so maybe he was in the same one we visited in 2009. There were also many beautiful souvenirs from porcelain available and of course many kinds of precious tea. We bought there many things.

Thanks dear SuperChanBlog for your answer. I remember we hardly saw older buildings in Beijing because they made it more modern because of the Olympic games. So to the lovely tea house we had to go with the man from the travel agaency who also accompanied us at the Great Wall. The store was quite hidden and alone we would never find it. Also the taxi drivers had problems, they did not talk English so we always needed a pic of our hotel when we wanted to return to the right place.
